Over in Daily Drawings, in case you missed it we have a fat cat, a fat bird and a King Grandpa.  All are for sale.

Everything Dies should be on it’s way to my house from the printer this week sometime, while you’re waiting why not check out my last book?

Bellen! Laundry [Feb. 5th, 2010|08:00 am]

Check out my daily drawings on my Flickr account. All these little drawings are for sale too! Recent ones include: Pretty kitties and a Picasso-esque Bellen! painting.

Valentines day is coming up very soon!  You should probably get your sweetie gifts today!  Prints of individual comics are good gifts.  And These Dreams Keep Me Going These Days is a very good Valentines gift also for a Bellen! fan??  Imagine that, their very one copy of the best Bellen! strips, maybe even a signed and defaced copy.

Bellen! In Sand [Feb. 3rd, 2010|07:48 am]

Valentines day is coming up! You still have time to get your sweetie some Bellen! goods! They might even like Love is a Peculiar Type of Thing (it’s a book about love).  According to my sister one of my aunts “liked it!”

In case you missed it, in Daily Drawings, there’s a portrait of Hurley from Lost and some familiar Peanutsy friends.  Remember: All these little drawings are for sale too!

Pages in Sequence Mirror [Feb. 2nd, 2010|08:17 am]
Hey did you livejournalists know that I have a blog that focuses solely on the print production of my comics?  Here is an example entry.  I made this entry today.  You can find all of the entries at Pages in Sequence, follow it for further updates.

Oh man that battle was crazy.

The comic I am currently working on is about the Mormon's sad and tumultuous relationship with African Americans.  The first part has been mostly a war in heaven though.  Lots of heads chopping off and stabbings.  Lucifer v. God, etc.  But, now I have to move on to the hard hitting social commentary.  Now THAT is scary, amirite??

Incidentally, I drew probably my favorite panel I ever drew.  I mentioned it in yesterday's Hourly Comics.  Drawing it put me in a weird, mind-melted state.  Check it out:

Bellen! Earth [Feb. 1st, 2010|07:56 am]

In order to limber up my drawing chops, I’ve started doing (quasi) daily little drawings of non-comic things, I’ve posted a set on my Flickr account. All these little drawings are for sale too!

Valentines day is coming up!  Did you know that These Dreams Keep Me Going These Days is an AMAZING Valentines gift for a Bellen! fan??  Imagine that, their very one copy of the best Bellen! strips, maybe even a signed and defaced copy.

Bellen! Narcissism [Jan. 29th, 2010|07:46 am]

Have I mentioned that my new favorite webcomic is the one done by That Luke Person?  It’s fantastic! We really need more people doing comics of this caliber on the web.

Also, there are a few famous characters in this page, not a lot but one or two, possibly three, can you find them?

Check it out: Jon Rosenberg of Goats fame being interviewed on Skeptic’s Guide to the Universe.  A definite dream of mine *cough* I have a book about religion coming out, *cough**cough* with a strong Atheist slant, *cough* *cough*.  Someone tell them.

Big Announcerments! Bellen! is moving back to 3 days a week update schedule next week.  Why?  Well, a man’s gotta eat don’t he?  Sad, I know, but I think you’ll all be ok.

Nice little review for Bad High School Poetry #1, which, incidentally is almost sold out.
